SINOTECH ENERGY CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as "SINOTECH ENERGY") was founded in 2020 with a vision to be a pioneer and leader in clean energy solutions. It has established its presence in three major business areas: LNG, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
SINOTECH ENERGY core technical team possesses extensive industry experience in cryogenic liquid systems, shipping, and clean energy. They hold the exclusive domestic intellectual property rights to the "membrane containment system," a new type of onshore/maritime membrane containment system. This innovative technology breaks the foreign patent monopoly, significantly reducing the construction costs and timelines for LNG onshore tanks and LNG vessels. It also stimulates the development of high-end domestic supporting equipment and materials manufacturing industries centered around this technology, offering substantial environmental, economic, and social benefits with a broad market outlook. Based on the advanced and unique membrane containment system technology and the success of the liquid hydrogen test cabin, the company has established exclusive cooperation relationships with China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau and Sinopec Engineering Corporation in the LNG and liquid hydrogen fields, solidifying its industry-leading position.
SINOTECH ENERGY focuses on high-tech decarbonization technology applications in both onshore and maritime sectors. In response to the characteristics of ship exhaust gases, SINOTECH ENERGY has independently developed the SC1000 series of highly efficient and low-energy consumption carbon capture devices. These devices are customized, compact, and modular, effectively reducing the SO2 and CO2 content in ship emissions to meet the International Maritime Organization's MEPC340(77) and EEXI/CII standards. The SC1000 series is the first ship-based carbon capture system in China to obtain Approval in Principle (AIP) certification from three leading classification societies: Lloyd's Register (LR), Bureau Veritas (BV), and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
SINOTECH ENERGY has an independent and comprehensive intellectual property system for liquefied gas equipment, as well as research and development, technical consulting, and standardization systems. It can provide all-around technical solutions, equipment system supply, construction process support, and technical review services for onshore liquefied gas (LNG, LH2) storage facilities, offshore liquefied gas transport equipment, and liquefied gas-powered vessels. The company strives to become a benchmark enterprise in propelling China's energy and shipping industries into the "zero-carbon era" through independent technology, contributing to the realization of China's 2060 carbon neutrality goal.

In October 2021, the company's independently developed and constructed world's first low-temperature liquid helium/liquid hydrogen experimental simulation chamber successfully underwent a super-cold test near absolute zero (-273℃) using liquid helium (-269℃). This achievement was certified by the Swiss-based third-party certification organization, SGS Group. It received recognition and certification from China Classification Society and Lloyd's Register, achieving a significant breakthrough in the storage and transportation technology of liquid helium/liquid hydrogen (-253℃).
